A study in inlays—The Patchwork Table draws inspiration from the traditional woodworking joinery method used to reinforce and mend inherent flaws in wood. A series of wooden inlays set at varying depths are routed into the tabletop, creating an interlocking patchwork that is both structural and aesthetic. The table’s base, featuring two drawers and an inset glass top surface, mimics the structural wood inlays as it intersects the cantilevered walnut slab.
